The organization advocates for infant adoption, adoption out of foster care, and intercountry adoption. The organization's mission statement proclaims that the NCFA is "Passionately committed to the belief that every child deserves a nurturing permanent family..."


The NCFA website is a very valuable resource tool for the entire adoption community. This is a one-stop site for everything from pending legislation to how to get involved in community events. There are online educational materials and events for prospective and current adoptive parents, adoption professionals, agencies and social workers.
